The Robert Chadima Visionary Awards are given out to individuals who embody and inspire the type of leadership, open-mindedness, and vision shown by Robert Chadima. Robert invested in the Cherry Building when others had little interest or faith in the future of the neighborhood. He was instrumental in launching and nurturing what we know today as New Bohemia. Robert passed away in 2016 and this award is given in his memory and in the hope of recognizing many others who carry on his work. The recipients will be publicly recognized during the State of the District Annual Luncheon on April 15, 2025 at the Olympic South Side Theater.
The committee looks for those people who have added to the arts, culture, and spirit of the District as well as those who have made a difference through building volunteer, nonprofit, and for profit structure. Leadership, creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurialism are also important. 2025 Nomination Form
