The Linn County Solid Waste Agency hosts the best view in town! The old Cedar Rapids landfill with over 6 million TONS of garbage has been transformed into a recreational site, complete with trails for biking and hiking. Climbing Mt. Trashmore 140 times is the equivalent of scaling Mt. Everest, the tallest mountain in the world!

There are plenty of trails to explore in Cedar Rapids and some of them go right through The District! You can find a list of trails on the City of Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation website.
grab your board and check out the skate park
The District is home to the Riverside Skate Park. Riverside Skate Park consists of a concrete surface with nine steel obstacles and ramps. These include a half-pipe, ramps, railings and more.
