Local supporting local is kind of our thing -- you'll find local bands performing at our bars and restaurants in the summertime. Grab a drink or something to eat, enjoy the sweet Iowa air and rock out.
You'll also see local bands performing at NewBo City Market's Rock the Block, every Friday night all summer long!

Try out a ceramics or glass blowing workshop at the iowa Ceramics Center & Glass Studio and keep an eye out for art classes being held at the NewBo City Market.

CSPS is dedicated to community building through the presentation, advocacy and support of the arts, music, and theater of our time.
They have weekly concert lineups with new and upcoming artists, as well as international groups. Enjoy the Art Gallery and grab a drink at the Carlo @ CSPS bar before the show!
attend our first thursday art walks
Every first Thursday of the month, The DISTRICT co-hosts an Art Walk through New Bohemia along with The Cherry Building and CSPS Hall, known art hubs of Cedar Rapids which house the studios and galleries full of works from talented local artists.
